A proud tradition

The Cheadle Academy has a long tradition of working alongside Keele University in the delivery of its Initial Teacher Training course. The Cheadle Academy has hosted numerous Associate Teachers over the years and has contributed to the successful development of cohorts of inspirational classroom practitioners. The majority of our ATs have gone on to teach nationally and internationally, at both classroom teacher level and beyond.

As a highly valued member of the Keele Partnership The Cheadle Academy is both proud and excited to be a part of this pioneering new approach to ITT for the Twenty First Century.

From the welcoming and supportive subject mentors to the chance to teach across the 11-18 age range (including AS and AS Level), The Cheadle Academy offers not only the chance to develop and build upon your pedagogy and practice but also to develop you holistically as a professional.
