Pupil Premium
Pupil Premium funding is government led to give additional money to support schools and academies in raising the attainment of children who receive free school meals (FSM). It also covers children in local authority care and service children.
This group have been identified nationally as achieving lower GCSE grades than children from less disadvantaged backgrounds.
Pupil Premium is allocated to schools and academies based on the number of children who are currently known to be eligible for free school meals (or have been at any point in the last 6 years),
It is very important that you let us know if you think your child is eligible for Pupil Premium. We can help to support you in checking.

Each school decides how to spend the funding. We publish details of what we have spent and the impact it has had.
